My first journal entry tells a story, my story. I want to share with my followers how I transitioned from designing, sewing, and selling two skirts, to creating my brand Courtship Marin.
It started with some friends of mine who were looking for tennis clothes that they could wear on and off the court, something fun, comfortable, and stylish enough to wear all day.
So, I began to bring this vision to life and created my first pieces. I sold these pieces at small pop-up stores across the Bay Area, but I knew Courtship had the potential to be so much more. 
Courtship swiftly evolved into a sustainable apparel line. Today, the company aims to use recycled and organic fabrics. We limit production to reduce waste and use only the amount of fabrics required for each design.
Equally important, Courtship supports local businesses and artists. Our factory is based in San Francisco, so I can visit, chat with the lovely people, and view my designs! In addition, Diaz Designs is our locally based digital printer, and we use local artists to create the images that we print on our fabrics.
